Having set off from our berth, within 30 metres we had reversed into a patch of weed, hiding a length of polypropylene rope, which fouled the propeller
So..this morning we managed to get a lift out at Blagdons yard, found the offending article
Eventually got away and have had a cracking sail to Dartmouth

That’s incredibly unlucky, Malcolm. Looks like the sort of rope that our cutters would not have been able to tackle.There but for the grace etc etc.
Hi Ken. I was anticipating damage to P bracket etc, last time it was a bill for 5k. But cutter did it’s job, just that the knot in the line snagged folding propeller half closed.
